Student Leader Covenant

A commitment between the student, parents and VC Kids Ministry.

I WILL ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE in working with the children. I will fully engage in the ministry as directed by my team leader. I will not spend the time in the classroom "hanging out" with other student leaders, but will spend my time building into the children.

I WILL CALL to let my team leader know if I am not going to be able to serve on a particular weekend. I understand that I am an important part of the VC Kids Leadership team, and that my team counts on me to be there when I am scheduled.

I WILL TREAT ADULTS, THE OTHER STUDENT LEADERS AND THE CHILDREN THAT I COME IN CONTACT WITH, THE SAME WAY I WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. I will be respectful of the adults, other student leaders and the children I come in contact with. I will bring any problems to the attention of an adult in charge and will not try to solve the problem in a disrespectful way.

I WILL REGULARLY ATTEND the youth ministry programs I have indicated on this application. I understand that the youth ministry is desgned to assist me in meeting my own relational, physical and spiritual needs. Because of this it is important for me to attend regularly.
