Vineyard Columbus Online

At Vineyard Columbus, we believe that we’re better together. And even now, while we all do our part to love our neighbors well by staying home and practicing social distancing, we can still be a vibrant and missional church community. You are warmly invited to join us online as we continue to find ways to experience God, love one another, and partner with Christ to heal the world.  The first way to connect is to join our online small group MIDPOINT.

We want to hear from you! If you need prayer or practical assistance in this time, please reach out here and one of our staff will reach out to you.

Check out the ways to continue to connect, grow, and serve below:

Serve

Vineyard Columbus believes that the kingdom of heaven is all about "giving and getting" and that "everybody gets to play." And Jesus was very clear about the importance of serving when he said that he "did not come to be served, but to serve" in Matthew 20:28. This is why we hold such a high value on serving. We hear story after story from our volunteers of how they received much more than they gave.

Even though we are practicing social distancing and limiting the number of opportunities we maintain to volunteer corporately, there are many ways you can serve in the community. In addition to giving regularly to Vineyard Columbus and ensuring that ministries continuing serving without interruption, there are activities you can do to add value to your family, friends, and neighbors. Here are a few ideas: Pick up groceries for a neighbor (leave on their doorstep and make sure you don’t have contact). Send a friend or relative an uplifting hand-written note. Offer to host story-time and read a book to younger kids via facetime or hangouts (or whatever platform you prefer). Dust off your text-books and offer to tutor older kids who are completing online homework and may need some assistance.
