Pastor Rich offers us an encouraging message about facing our future with faith as opposed to fear. Through the lens of fear, we are prone to compromising our calling and magnifying our obstacles; through this lens the future looks bleak. Through the eyes of faith, our future looks much brighter; our problems look surmountable. We can hope and pray for revival in the church that will bring about needed healing and change in our own time and land. How do we shift from viewing the future through a lens of fear to a lens of faith? The keys are found in prioritizing obedience to Christ and emphasizing God’s present provision in our lives. Jesus really does mean for us to press forward in faith.
